Lead seal of Leontios Kodrakiotes (?) (ca 12th cent.)
Condition: Obv. somewhat trimmed, the lead disc was smaller than the boulloterion, otherwise Fine.

Obverse: The bust of the Mother of God, facial, nimbate, orans, with infant Jesus Christ on her chest, also nimbate, facial and blessing, the usual inscription Μ(ΗΤΗ)Ρ- Θ(ΕΟ)Υ = Μήτηρ Θεοῦ (Mother of God), all within dotted border.

Reverse: Inscription in 5 lines: [+Κ(ΥΡΙ)Ε Β(ΟΗ)Θ(ΕΙ)/Λ]ΕΩΝΤΙ/Ω ΚΩ[Δ?]/ΡΑΚΙΩ/Τ(Η) = Κύριε, βοήθει Λεοντίῳ Κωδρακιώτῃ (Lord, help Leontios Kodrakiotes)
