Greek Door Handle Pair
5th-3rd century BC. A matched pair of substantial bronze door handles, each a ribbed curved bar with collars ending in a flared segmented floral plate pierced for attachment. 1.7 kg total, 18.5cm wide (7 1/4"). Property of a London gentleman; from his father's collection formed in the late 1980s-early 1990s. [2]
