April-July 238 AD. Rome mint. Obv: IMP CAES M CLOD PVPIENVS AVG legend with laureate, draped and cuirassed bust right. Rev: PAX PVBLICA legend with Pax seated left holding olive-branch and sceptre; SC in exergue. RIC 22a; BMC 48; Sear 8533. 19.68 grams.
Near extremely fine; flan flaw to obverse rim.
