69-70 AD. Rome mint. Obv: IMP CAESAR VESPASIANVS AVG legend with laureate bust right. Rev: Judaea seated beside trophy; IVDAEA in exergue. RIC 15; BMC 35; RSC 226; Sear 2296. 3.09 grams. This issue celebrates the suppression by Vespasian and Titus of the First Jewish Revolt.
