BRITISH COINS. Victoria, 1837-1901. Godless Florin, 1849, London. 11.32 g. 28 mm. Mintage: 413,820. S.3890. Because DEI GRATIA (latin 'by God') was omitted from the legend this type is referred to as the 'Godless' florin. A very pleasant extremely fine example with no detractions.
