King of the Britons Defender of the Faith. / St George slaying the dragon within Garter. Legend reads HONI · SOIT · QUI · MAL · Y · PENSE. Translation: Shame on he who thinks evil of it. Edge inscribed.
Prooflike surfaces as noted by NGC on the holder, with a light shimmer of toning. One of the finest examples of this type we have seen, In secure plastic holder, graded by NGC MS65 PL, certification number 4829214-001.
