The king is famous for crossing the Great Belt in 1658 which brought Swedish control in the Baltic sea to its zenith. He died in 1660 after reigning only 6 years. Riksdaler were struck in 1654 and are undated. The coin on offer is problem-free with an even wear and very attractive toning. Very fine, reverse better with some retained lustre. Very scarce, especially in this condition. VF.
