KINGDOM OF CYPRUS: Henry II, 1285-1324, AR gros (4.61g), struck during his second reign, 1310-1324, + HENRI REI DE, king seated facing on curule chair with foreparts of lions, holding scepter and orb // + IERVSALEM ED CHIPR, cross of Jerusalem with square center, crosses in each quarter, EF. The Kingdom of Cyprus was a Crusader state that existed between 1192 and 1489. It was ruled by the French House of Lusignan.
