ARAB-SASANIAN: al-Hakam b. Abi'l-'As, ca. 674-677, AR drachm (3.61g), ANWAT, AH57, A-11, inscription bism Allah rabb al-hukm ("in the name of God, Lord of the judgment") divided between ObQ1 and ObQ2; nice even strike, one light flan crack, bold name, date, mint, etc., VF-EF, RRR. The ANWAT mint has never been identified, but because it occurs after KLMAN on the drachms of later governors, it is surely a location somewhere in Kirman province. The only example of this mint for al-Hakam listed on CoinArchives is clipped and ragged, sold in Morton & Eden Auction 63, Lot 1, for $2439 (in 2013).
