RIC-25b; RSC-159. Obverse: Laureate and draped bust right; Reverse: Minerva standing left, holding victoriola and spear; shield to left, trophy to right. An early issue for this future emperor, who would succeed his father, Septimius Severus, following the latter's death in A.D. 211.
