Obverse: Diademed and draped bust right; Reverse: Eagle standing left on prow left; palm frond behind; to left, monogram above club surmounted by monogram; to right, two monograms above ΓΠP (date); monogram between legs. A highly lustrous and brilliant example, this piece exhibits only a minor degree of light handling. A rather small punch near the top of the civic monogram is noted on the holder for completeness.
