SNG ANS-1056; HGC-3.1, 151. Obverse: Helmeted head of Athena facing slightly right; Reverse: AYΔΩΛEONTOΣ, horse prancing right; star below raised foreleg. A VERY RARE issue with the star below the horse, this delightful example offers a well centered strike on each side along with a light, pleasing tone. Quite alluring with this fine style obverse.
