MACEDON. Kingdom of Macedon. Philip III, 323-317 B.C. AR Tetradrachm (17.02 gms), Miletos Mint, ca. 323-319 B.C. NGC MS, Strike: 5/5 Surface: 3/5. Fine Style.
Pr-2120. Stuck in the name of Alexander III (the Great). Obverse: Head of Herakles right, wearing lion skin; Reverse: AΛEΞANΔPOY, Zeus seated left on throne, holding eagle and scepter; monogram in left field. Exceedingly lustrous and brilliant, this rather flashy Mint State specimen offers a fine style strike on a fairly broad flan for issue.
