Description

CANADA. Dominion of Canada. 1 Dollar, 1898. DC-13a. PMG Gem Uncirculated 66 EPQ.

Series A-D. Unbeaten condition. An outstanding offering of this very popular 1898 issued Dollar showcasing the lumberjacks at center, with the Countess and Earl of Aberdeen flanking the center vignette. Nearly two hundred examples of DC-13 in the a, and b variety have been collectively certified by PMG, and only two have been certified as uncirculated. Both notes are treasures, and found in 66EPQ with the DC-13a variety that shows with the inward 'One' obligation printed on the reverse. Therefor this piece is tied for the finest known of either variety, and outside of the owner of the other example, it will upgrade any current Dominion collection of issued notes. Incredible colors, with pack fresh detail and originality that is seldom available in any Dominion note, yet alone one as desired and sought after as this. PMG Gem Uncirculated 66 EPQ.
