2 pieces in lot. The obverse of the proof shows a central vignette of Dom Pedro II, with a coat of arms at right and palm tree at left. On the reverse of the proof, a central design showing "Empire of Brazil" with two vignettes of allegorical women are surrounded by a exquisite border design in vivid green inking. Three of the four corners are damaged, however this does not affect the proof, as noted by PMG. Printers annotations are seen on the back of the card stocks.
