IONIA. Ephesos. Cistophor (Circa 180-67 BC). Dated CY 21 (139/8 BC).
Obv: Cista mystica with serpent; all within ivy wreath.
Rev: EΦΕ.
Bow case between two serpents. Controls: A - K (date)across upper field; double cornucopia to right.
Kleiner & Noe 34a; SNG von Aulock 1857.
Condition: Very fine.
Weight: 12.42 g.
Diameter: 28 mm.
