EASTERN EUROPE. Imitation of Thasos. Tetradrachm (2nd century BC).

Obv: Head of Dionysos right, wearing ivy wreath.
Rev: HPAKΛEOVΣ ΣΩTHPOΣ / ΘΑΣIΩN.
Herakles standing left, holding club and lion skin. Control: M to left.

Lanz 955-60; OTA Class I; cf. HGC 6, 358-9 (for prototype).

Condition: Near extremely fine.
