Bendall, Trebizond -; Sear -; DOC -.
Despite the fact that the issues of Constantine Gabras are anonymous, they share a common fabric and style, especially in the formation of the flan. These issues were described and defined by Bendall in his article about the mint of Trebizond. Since the coin described here clearly fits into this pattern, the attribution is quite likely.
