MACEDON. The Macedonians. Serrate Ae (Circa 149-148 BC). Amphipolis. Struck under Philip VI Andriskos.

Obv: Head of Poseidon right, wearing tainia and with trident over shoulder.
Rev: ΜΑΚΕ / ΔΟΝΩΝ.
Club right; two monograms below; all within wreath.

SNG Copenhagen 1294; HGC 3.1, 331.

Condition: Very fine.

Weight: 10.14 g.
Diameter: 23 mm.
