ATTICA. Athens. Tetradrachm (124/3 BC). New Style Coinage. Mikion, Eurykle- and Demo-, magistrates.
Obv: Helmeted head of Athena right.
Rev: A - ΘE / MIK - IΩN / EVP - VKΛE / ΔH / MO.
Owl, with head facing, standing right on amphora; in right field, the Dioskouroi standing left; uncertain letter on amphora; ΣΦ below; all within wreath.
Cf. Thompson 484 & 487; HGC 4, 1602.
Condition: Near very fine.
Weight: 16.51 g.
Diameter: 30 mm.
