KINGS OF MACEDON. Alexander III 'the Great' (336-323 BC). Drachm. Uncertain mint in western Asia Minor.

Obv: Head of Herakles right, wearing lion skin.
Rev: AΛEΞANΔPOY.
Zeus seated left on throne, holding eagle and sceptre. Controls: In left field, head of lion facing; below throne, NI above strut.

Price 2702; HGC 3.1, 944k (Alexander IV).

Condition: Good very fine.
