KINGS OF MACEDON. Alexander III 'the Great' (336-323 BC). Tetradrachm. Mesambria.

Obv: Head of Herakles right, wearing lion skin.
Rev: ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ / AΛΕΞΑΝΔΡOY.
Zeus seated left on throne, holding eagle and sceptre. Controls: In left field, crested helmet right; below throne, monogram below strut.

Price 1013; HGC 3.2, 1567.

Condition: Good very fine.
