EASTERN EUROPE. Imitations of Philip II of Macedon (2nd-1st centuries BC). Tetradrachm.

Obv: Laureate head of Zeus right.
Rev: ΦΙΛΙΠΠOY.
Youth on horse right, holding palm frond. Controls: Below raised foreleg, trident right.

Cf. Gitbud & Naumann 30, lot 47 (for prototype).

Condition: Very fine, test cut on the reverse.

Weight: 14.34 g.
Diameter: 27 mm.
