KINGS OF MACEDON. Alexander III 'the Great' (336-323 BC). Tetradrachm. Myriandros or Issos. Possible lifetime issue.

Obv: Head of Herakles right, wearing lion skin.
Rev: AΛΕΞΑΝΔΡΟY.
Zeus seated left on throne, holding eagle and sceptre. Controls: In left field, monogram above club-in-wreath; below throne, monogram below strut.

Price 3231A; HGC 3.1, 943i (Alexander IV).

Condition: Very fine, large test cut on the edge.

Weight: 17.18 g.
Diameter: 26 mm.
