KINGS OF MACEDON. Alexander III 'the Great' (336-323 BC). Tetradrachm. Mesambria.

Obv: Head of Herakles right, wearing lion skin.
Rev: ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ / AΛΕΞΑΝΔΡOY.
Zeus seated left on throne, holding eagle and sceptre. Controls: In left field, crested helmet right above MA; below throne, monogram below strut.

Price 1082; HGC 3.2, 1568.

Condition: Very fine.
