EASTERN EUROPE. Imitations of Alexander III 'the Great' of Macedon (3rd-2nd centuries BC). Drachm.

Obv: Head of Herakles right, wearing lion skin.
Rev: Zeus seated left on throne, holding eagle and sceptre. Control: Monogram in left field.

Cf. Lanz 939 (similar imitation of Philip III); OTA 591/2.

Condition: Very fine.

Weight: 3.8 g.
Diameter: 20 mm.
