VICTORINUS (269-271). Antoninianus. Treveri.

Obv: IMP VICTORINVS P F AVG.
Radiate and cuirassed bust left, holding spear and shield decorated with Medusa.
Rev: PIETAS AVG.
Pietas standing left, holding box of perfumes and sacrificing over lighted altar to left.

RIC -; AGK 16b; CNG 81, lot 1124 (which realized a hammer of $750).

Excellent shield detail. Very rare.

Condition: Extremely fine.

Weight: 4.55 g.
Diameter: 21 mm.
