KINGS OF MACEDON. Alexander III 'the Great' (336-323 BC). Tetradrachm. Uncertain mint in southern Asia Minor.

Obv: Head of Herakles right, wearing lion skin.
Rev: AΛEΞANΔPOY.
Zeus seated left on throne, holding eagle and sceptre. Controls: Hook in left field, K below throne.

Price 3070; HGC 3.1, 940i (Alexander IV).

Condition: Very fine.

Weight: 17.1 g.
Diameter: 25 mm.
