EASTERN EUROPE. Imitations of Alexander III 'the Great' of Macedon (3rd-2nd centuries BC). Tetradrachm.

Obv: Head of Herakles right, wearing lion skin.
Rev: ИUVV.
Zeus seated left on throne, holding eagle and sceptre. Controls: Wreath to left, X below throne.

Cf. Lanz 875-83 (for similar imitations).

Condition: Very fine.

Weight: 14.65 g.
Diameter: 24 mm.
