Laureate, draped and cuirassed bust of Gordian and draped bust of Tranquillina, wearing stephane, facing one another.
Rev: MECMBPIANΩN (sic).
Tyche standing left, holding rudder and cornucopia.

Varbanov 4213 var. (ethnic).

An interesting engraver's error featuring the first 'A' in Mesambria being left off from the die; the second 'A,' though faint, appears to be there, but the first 'A' has seemingly been left off.

Condition: Good very fine.
