KINGS OF MACEDON. Alexander III 'the Great' (336-323 BC). Obol. Uncertain mint, and possibly a contemporary imitation.

Obv: Head of Herakles right, wearing lion skin.
Rev: AΛEΞANΔPOY.
Zeus seated left on throne, holding eagle and sceptre; uncertain control in left field.

Condition: Very fine.

Weight: 0.70 g.
Diameter: 7 mm.
