EASTERN EUROPE. Imitation of Alexander III 'the Great' of Macedon (3rd-2nd centuries BC). Tetradrachm.

Obv: Head of Herakles right, wearing lion skin.
Rev: ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ / AΛΕΞΑΝΔΡΟΥ.
Zeus seated left with eagle and sceptre. Controls: KOI in left field, monogram below throne.

Lanz 885-7; OTA 573; cf. Price 1169 (for prototype)..

Condition: Near extremely fine.

Weight: 16.73 g.
Diameter: 30 mm.
