★ Very Rare Symbol ★

CALABRIA. Tarentum. Nomos (Circa 315-302 BC).

Obv: Warrior, holding shield and two spears, and preparing to cast third spear, on horse rearing right; ΣA below.
Rev: TAPAΣ.
Phalanthos, holding kantharos and trident, riding dolphin left; below, shrimp right.

Cf. Vlasto 600-25 (dolphin); HN Italy 937 var. (unlisted control).

Very rare with shrimp control.

Condition: Very fine.

Weight: 7.76 g.
Diameter: 21 mm.
