MACEDON UNDER ROMAN PROTECTORATE. First Meris. Tetradrachm (Circa 167-148 BC). Amphipolis.

Obv: Diademed and draped bust of Artemis right with bow and quiver over shoulder in centre of Macedonian shield.
Rev: MAKEΔONΩN / ΠRΩTHΣ.
Club, monogram above, all within oak wreath; thunderbolt to left.

SNG Copenhagen 1310.

Condition: Good very fine.
