KINGS OF MACEDON. Alexander III 'the Great' (336-323 BC). Tetradrachm. Arados. Possible lifetime issue.
Obv: Head of Herakles right, wearing lion skin.
Rev: AΛΕΞΑΝΔΡΟY / ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ.
Zeus seated left on throne, holding eagle and sceptre. Controls: Kerykeion in left field, monogram below throne.
Price 3332; HGC 3.1, 943k (Alexander IV).
Condition: Good very fine.
Weight: 17.19 g.
Diameter: 25 mm.
