KINGS OF MACEDON. Alexander III 'the Great' (336-323 BC). Drachm. Sardes.

Obv: Head of Herakles right, wearing lion skin.
Rev: AΛΕΞΑΝΔΡΥ (sic).
Zeus seated left on throne, holding eagle and sceptre. Controls: IT in left field, bee below throne.

Price 2629; HGC 3.1, 944i (Philip III).

Condition: Good very fine.

Weight: 4.21 g.
Diameter: 16 mm.
