MACEDON. Potidaia. Tetradrachm (Circa 500-480 BC).

Obv: Poseidon Hippios, nude, riding horse walking to right, holding trident with his right hand and the reins with his left; star beneath horse.
Rev: Quadripartite incuse square divided diagonally.

AMNG III 2 var. (control marks); SNG Lockett 1366 var. (same); SNG ANS 688-9 var. (same); HGC 3.1, 640.

Condition: Good very fine.

Weight: 17,39g.
Diameter: 25mm.
