SICILY. Syracuse. Agathokles, 317-289 BC. 25 Litrai (Electrum, 15.5 mm, 3.68 g, 6 h), circa 310-305. Laureate head of Apollo to left; behind head, Corinthian helmet to left. Rev. ΣΥΡAKOΣIΩN Tripod with high ring handles. Jenkins O14. SNG ANS 629. Attractive and of good style. Surfaces slighty buffed, otherwise, about extremely fine.
