CAMPANIA. Neapolis. Circa 320-300 BC. Didrachm or nomos (Silver, 18 mm, 6.77 g, 9 h), Diophanes. Diademed head of nymph to right, wearing triple-pendant earring and pearl necklace; behind neck, kantharos; below, ΔΙ. Rev. NEOΠOΛITHΣ Man-headed bull walking right; above, Nike flying right, placing wreath on bull's head; below, [K]. HN III 571. Sambon 447. SNG ANS 320. Some roughness, otherwise, about very fine.
