ΑΛΕΞΑΝΔΡΟΥ Zeus seated left on backless throne, holding eagle in his right hand and long scepter in his left; to left, ΑΡ Χ; below throne, between struts, five globules in the form of a Λ; below bottom strut, ΔΑ. Price 3200 var ( four globules ). Attractive and bright. A very rare early issue from Damascus, especially with the five globules under throne. Nearly extremely fine.
