Description

CARTHAGE. First Punic War. Circa 264-241 BC. Trihemistater (Electrum, 20 mm, 11.01 g, 12 h). Head of Tanit to left, wearing grain ear wreath, triple-pendant earring and necklace of pendants. Rev. Horse standing to right; above, radiate sun disc flanked by two uraei. Jenkins & Lewis 413. Rare. Some striking flatness on both sides, otherwise, about extremely fine.
