KINGS OF ARMENIA. Tigranes V, the Cappadocian, AD 6-12. Chalkous (Bronze, 14.5 mm, 2.20 g, 12 h), Artagigarta (?). Diademed, draped, and bearded bust of Tigranes to right, wearing tiara decorated with three eagles. Rev. [ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ] ΤΙ-ΓΡΑΝΟΥ [ΜΕΓΑΛΟΥ] Eagle standing to right. ACV 165. CAA 155. Kovacs 184 ( same dies ). Very rare with eagle to right and one of the few examples with traces of the inscription. Edge splits, otherwise, very fine.
