KINGS OF ARMENIA. Tigranes II ‘the Great’, 95-56 BC. Half chalkous (Bronze, 11 mm, 1.34 g, 12 h), sixth series, Tigranokerta, c. 70-69. Diademed and draped bust of Tigranes II to right, wearing five-pointed tiara decorated with a star. Rev. BAΣIΛEΩΣ TIΓPANOY / ΔH-MO Horse grazing to right. ACV -. CAA -. Kovacs 97 ( this obverse die ). YTN 213. Struck slightly off center, otherwise, very fine.
