MACEDON. Neapolis. Circa 500-480 BC. Tetartemorion or 1/48th Stater (Silver, 7 mm, 0.24 g). Gorgoneion facing with extended tongue. Rev. Quadripartite incuse square. HGC 3.1 -. Cf. SNG ANS 423-424 ( different denomination ). Extremely rare. Very fine.
