Le Rider, Thasiennes 30 var. ( as Krenides ). Another great rarity from Thasos. Some rough areas, otherwise, about very fine.

This coin is a great rarity within the Thasian series. Completely unknown, it is very similar to an almost contemporary Chalkous of Krenides, (Le Rider 30) a settlement of the Thasians on the epeiros of Macedonia: the only difference is that here the inscription clearly states that it was minted in Thasos itself and not at Crenides.
