Description

SICILY. Tauromenion. Roman rule, after 216/2 BC. (Bronze, 16 mm, 2.85 g, 12 h). Head of youthful Dionysos to right, wearing ivy wreath. Rev. TAYPO-MENI-TAN Bull walking slowly to right, head facing. Calciati III 42. SNG Copenhagen 947. Virzi 2061 (this coin). Rare. Lovely apple-green patina. Good very fine.
