SICILY. Kamarina . Circa 420-405 BC. Onkia (Bronze, 11 mm, 1.49 g, 4 h). Facing gorgoneion. Rev. [KAMA] Owl standing right, head facing, grasping lizard; in the exergue, •. HGC 2, 552. With a most appealing gorgon head on the obverse. Some smoothing on the reverse fields , otherwise, nearly very fine.
