LUCANIA. Poseidonia . Circa 445-420 BC. Stater (Silver, 19 mm, 7.85 g, 9 h). ΠOΣEIΔ ( retrograde ) Poseidon striding to right. Rev. ΠOΣEIΔΑ ( retrograde ) Bull walking left. HN III 1116. SNG ANS 658. Nicely toned and of good style. Minor metal fault on the obverse and test cut on the edge , otherwise, very fine.
