APULIA. Teate . Circa 225-200 BC. Quincunx (Bronze, 26 mm, 16.41 g, 10 h). Helmeted head of Athena to right; above, five pellets. Rev. TIATI Owl standing on Corinthian capital; to right, five pellets and crescent. HN III 702a. SNG ANS 746. SNG Paris 1424. Attractive green patina. Good very fine.
From the collection of W. F. Stoeckllin, Amriswil, Switzerland, acquired prior to 1975.
