ETRURIA, Asia. Populonia . Circa 300-250 BC. 20 Asses (Silver, 19 mm, 8.56 g). Facing head of Hercle (Herakles) wearing lion skin . Rev. Blank. HN III 155. Vecchi 65. Nicely toned. Very fine.
From the collection of W.F. Stoecklin, acquired from Bank Leu prior to 1975, but probably during the 1960s.
